Google and ENGIE expand renewable partnership in Belgium

Google and ENGIE have signed new agreements in Belgium where ENGIE will provide over 118MW of renewable energy to support Google's operations

Google and ENGIE have strengthened their partnership with new Corporate Power Purchase Agreements (cPPAs).

ENGIE will provide over 118MW of renewable power to support Google’s operations across the country.

The collaboration includes the integration of four newly developed onshore wind farms by ENGIE, contributing a total capacity of 26MW directly to Google’s infrastructure.

Additionally, an existing cPPA for a 92MW wind park in Belgium has been extended by another eight years.

Collectively, these agreements will enable Google to access approximately 3.7TWh of energy annually.
