British Gas has announced that it will offer half-price electricity tomorrow from 11.30am to 1.30pm.
This event is part of the Green Flex scheme, which aims to provide cheaper electricity during times of increased renewable energy generation due to weather conditions.
Customers received emails today inviting them to participate in the event.
Additionally, British Gas will offer half-price electricity on Sunday from 11am to 4pm.
Customers can use this time to complete household tasks while benefiting from lower energy rates.
The PeakSave scheme uses energy forecasting to set these events.
Both new and existing customers can participate, and any savings will appear as credits on their energy bills.
All PeakSave customers will continue to receive half-price electricity every Sunday without needing to opt in.
