E.ON Next and the National Pharmacy Association are collaborating to raise awareness about the health advantages of home insulation.
Insulating homes can lead to warmer, more comfortable environments, cutting energy bills and reducing cold-related illnesses and pressure on the NHS.
According to Citizens Advice, upgrading UK homes to an Energy Performance Certificate (EPC) rating of C could save the NHS up to £2 billion by 2030.
Insulation reduces risks associated with asthma, COPD, heart attacks, and strokes.
Additionally, maintaining warmer home temperatures could help prevent up to 6,000 winter deaths each year, supporting both physical and mental health.
To aid in this effort, E.ON Next provides grants like the Great British Insulation Scheme and ECO4, open to eligible low income households, regardless of customer status.
