Roofing tiles that are mini solar panels could soon be popping up all over Europe.
US firm Jackery, a leader in portable and eco-friendly energy solutions, is expanding its innovation into solar roof tiles.
They say their solar tiles integrate renewable energy with aesthetic appeal, eliminating the visual drawbacks of traditional panels. The tiles offer 25% efficiency and a power generation capacity of 170 watts per square metre, suitable for residential and commercial applications.
Their unique shape and size allows for seamless integration into sophisticated architectural designs and are made with ultra-thin 0.13mm crystalline silicon solar cells.
Engineered to endure extreme weather, Jackery backs the durability of these tiles with a 30-year warranty.
They will be launched across Europe at a trade fair in Munich later this month.
