Co-op Live partners with OVO to power greener live music experiences

Co-op Live teams up with OVO to deliver sustainable music events and reward greener actions

Co-op Live has announced a major sustainability-focused partnership with OVO, marking another step in its mission to become the most sustainable live entertainment venue in the world.

The new alliance is to champion low-carbon innovation and provide music fans with eco-conscious experiences.

The partnership will offer OVO customers exclusive access to tickets via OVO Live – a loyalty programme that rewards greener choices through priority access to events, lounges and competitions.

The collaboration reinforces both brands’ climate commitments.

OVO’s “Plan Zero” aims to reach net zero by 2035, while Co-op Live was designed with sustainability at its core, using energy-efficient technologies and engaging fans in environmental action.

The arena, which hosts more than 120 nights of entertainment annually, is based in Manchester on the Etihad Campus and features state-of-the-art acoustics and immersive experiences.

Guy Dunstan, General Manager and SVP at Co-op Live, said: “This partnership with OVO aligns perfectly with our vision of sustainable entertainment. We’re creating unforgettable experiences while inspiring greener behaviour.”

James Watts, Head of Brand Sponsorship & Experiential at OVO, said: “Music has the power to inspire change. Partnering with Co-op Live helps us connect with audiences in a meaningful way – rewarding greener actions and building momentum toward a cleaner future.”
